This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for COMMERCIAL ITEMS for the Procurement of Marine Grade Lumber and Pilings prepared in accordance with the information in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 12. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. This procurement is being solicited as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE under the NAICS code 321114. The Contractor shall deliver the marine treated lumber and pilings within twelve (12) weeks of award of a purchase order / contract to: Juan Silva, US Army Corps of Engineers Caven Point Marine Terminal 3 Chapel Ave, Port Liberte, Jersey City, NJ 07305 Cell: (201)-333-8652 The award will be an agreement capable of fulfilling the requirements of the scope of work (SOW) throughout the period of performance. INSTRUCTIONS TO QUOTERS: ALL QUOTES ARE TO BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SPECIFICATIONS. Responses to this announcement must meet all stated requirements in this solicitation and shall provide CAGE code and or UEI. Offers must have a minimum of 10 years experience in the supply of Number 2 or better marine treated 2.5 lb CCA Saltwater Immersion Timber and pilings for the maintenance and repair of dock structures and bulkheading at the Caven Point Marine Terminal (CPMT). Provide a completed pricelist, acknowledge all amendments, and sign offers. Quotes must be submitted in an electronic format as a PDF document via email. No hardcopy quotes will be reviewed. In addition to the above, the Government may review any other sources of information for evaluating past performance. Other sources may include, but are not limited to, past performance information retrieved through the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), including Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS), using all CAGE numbers of team members (partnership, joint venture, teaming arrangement, or parent company/subsidiary/affiliate) identified in the offeror's proposal, inquiries of owner representative(s), Federal Awardee Performance and Integrity Information System (FAPIIS), Electronic Subcontract Reporting System (eSRS), and any other known sources not provided by the offeror. Quotes must be signed and dated and completed with prices for all items. Quoters are reminded to ensure that online Representations and Certifications in SAM are up to date or may provide completed Representations and certifications with their quote. The prospective contractor must have adequate experience in the subject work, be fully licensed, and have any necessary industry and/or manufacturer certifications, if applicable. Offerors shall provide proof of required licenses, certifications, and experience upon request.
