This project will consist of providing a new automated paint booth and oven in a manufacturing building at Watervliet Arsenal. The paint booth will be automated with robotic tooling, programmable controls, and climate control for heating and cooling. The new paint booth and oven will be designed to accommodate components ranging from 15 ft to 40 ft long and weighing up to 8000 lbs. The project will include all infrastructure in support of the paint booth, oven, and equipment including electrical, communications, gas, and steam. The new paint booth and oven will need to be constructed in phases to allow for the existing paint booth and oven to stay operational a long as possible throughout the duration of construction. The new paint booth and oven will be installed in place of the existing and the existing paint booth and oven will be demolished. Acquisition Strategy: This is a single-step "Best Value Trade Off" solicitation in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.101-1 for the Replacement of the Paint Booth and Drying Oven located at Watervliet Arsenal, NY. The Government will evaluate the proposals in accordance with the Source Selection Criteria, and award a firm fixed price Construction Contract to the responsible firm, whose proposal conforms to all the terms and conditions of the solicitation is fair and reasonable and offers the best overall value to the Government. Magnitude: Between $15M and $30M This is an unrestricted Procurement.
