The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Contract 3B of the Joseph G. Minish Passaic River Waterfront Park and Historic Area Project in Newark New Jersey consisting of the construction of approximately 905 LF of cantilever or tie-back sheet pile wall to sheet pile deadman and reinforced concrete cap. Additional project features will include storm drain outlets with concrete inlets and steel railing with mesh infill panels. Project magnitude is between $10,000,000 - $25,000,000. This project solicitation will be unrestricted full and open competition with HUBZone preference. The period of performance for this project is 500 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date. The specifications will be posted electronically via the Contract Opportunities website at https://sam.gov/. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 for General Contractors – Heavy Construction.
