This is a two-phase Design-Build to Budget solicitation for the design and construction of a Component Rebuild Shop. The acquisition is full and open with a project budget of $79,600,000. Phase I technical proposals will be evaluated according to the criteria described in the solicitation. All proposals must be submitted via PIEE-SOL, and requests for information must be submitted via ProjNet. The solicitation includes five attachments.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to solicit an unrestricted, firm-fixed-price design-build contract for a new Component Rebuild Shop at Letterkenny Army Depot, Pennsylvania. The project involves demolishing an existing 16,700 GSF building and constructing approximately 72,000 GSF of new facility space, including vehicle repair bays, administrative offices, support areas, and associated site work. The contract will use a Two-Phase Design-Build to Budget approach with a budget ceiling of $78,000,000. The anticipated period of performance is 1,095 calendar days from the notice to proceed. The Government will not provide detailed construction plans; the selected offeror will be responsible for developing the final design.
