JBMHH Stables 236 Follow-On Requirements
USACE Baltimore District is conducting market research to identify firms capable of performing historic renovations and facility upgrades at The Old Guard Paddock and Stables 236, Fort Myer, Virginia. The project involves comprehensive architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and life safety upgrades to a historic equestrian facility. Special considerations include working around active draft horses wearing spike shoes, lead abatement near animals, historic brick masonry repair, roof repairs, ventilation system reconfiguration, and fire protection upgrades. The Government is seeking industry feedback on the most effective acquisition strategy (1-Step vs. 2-Step Design-Build) as well as technical expertise.
