Q4 FY26 Baltimore Harbor and Channels Maintenance Dredging, Maryland Channels, Chesapeake Bay, MD
This project involves maintenance dredging of approximately 2,250,000 cubic yards from deep-draft federal navigation channels serving the Port of Baltimore. The work must be performed between November 2026 and March 2027, with a performance period of approximately 120 calendar days from receipt of Notice-to-Proceed. The estimated construction budget is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. Dredged material will be placed at the Paul S. Sarbanes Ecosystems Restoration Project at Poplar Island and the Cox Creek Dredged Material Containment Facility. The work areas are within heavy commercial waterways supporting the Port of Baltimore.
