The Washington Aqueduct currently has 247 extinguishers in various locations and buildings that are within a 10 mile radius of the Dalecarlia Water Treatment Plant. These fire extinguishers need to be maintained and inspected per National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) standards. | The purpose of this amendment is to extend the solicitation due date and add additional instructions. SYNOPSIS This is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Baltimore District pre-solicitation notice for non-personnel services to provide Fire Extinguisher Inspection, certification, and Maintenance at various Washington Aqueducts Water treatment Plant Facilities in the Washington, DC region. The anticipated contract will have a Base year and Four (4) Option Years of 12 months each. This action will be 100% set aside for small business. This is a synopsis of the requirement ONLY. An official Request for Quotes (RFQ) is anticipated to be posted in the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE, https://piee.eb.mil) and https://SAM.gov on or around 30 June 2025. The anticipated period of performance is one base year plus four option years.
