SYNOPSIS This is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Baltimore District’s presolicitation notice to procure a single award firm-fixed contract to provide repairs to Caustic Soda Tank #13 for the Washington Aquaduct (WA) at the McMillan Water Treatment Plant. The Period of Performance shall be 120 days and will commence immediately following contract award. WA provides potable water to approximately one million people in the District of Columbia and Northern Virginia. As part of the water treatment and supply system, WA maintains and operates the Dalecarlia WTP and McMillan WTP. This is a synopsis of the requirement ONLY. An official Request for Quotation (RFQ) is anticipated to be posted in the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE, https://piee.eb.mil) and https://SAM.gov on or around April 5, 2024. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set Aside.
