The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Baltimore District has a requirement for invasive species removal services for the Shookstown Creek restoration site at Fort Detrick in Frederick, MD. See included Request for Quote (RFQ) and associated attachments for further details. THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO EXTEND THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF QUOTES TO JUNE 21 AT 11:00 AM EST, AND TO PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION REGARDING A SITE VISIT: A site visit will be held Thursday, June 15, 2023. Representatives of interested contractors shall meet USACE POC Lauren Joyal at the Fort Detrick Visitors Center at 9:30 AM EST. (1) Representatives sent by the Contractor to attend the site visit must be U.S. citizens and must have valid driver?s licenses. (2) If the Contractor?s representative(s) does not posess a current Common Access Card (CAC), the representative shall allow ample time the morning of the site visit to procure a day pass at the Visitors Center before departing the building for the visit. (2) Persons attending the site visit are advised to arrive prepared to protect themselves against ticks and other insects, as there exists tall-growing vegetation at the site.
