The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Baltimore District intends to issue a request for quotations (RFQ) on or about 23 September 2022 for a firm-fixed price contract as a total small business set aside under NAICS 237310. This code currently defines the Small Business size as $39.5M. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. Jennings Randolph Lake is located on the Maryland and West Virginia border in Garrett County, Maryland, and Mineral County, West Virginia. Portion A of the work required will be performed at the Dike Fishing Access Area in Garret County, Maryland. Portions B to D of the work are in the Robert W. Craig Campground about five miles from Elk Garden, West Virginia. The project consists of: Portion A Dike area: Pave approximately 850 square yards of 3” HMA 19.00 mm material. Some slight grading will be needed. Portion B Campground Access Road: Pave approximately 10,615 square yards of 3” HMA 19.00mm material tack. Install three paved speed bumps and paid two reflective yellow center lines. Portion C Campground Parking Lot: Pave approximately 62 square yards of 19.00mm material at the edge of the lot to widen. Some milling will be required. Portion D Campground Dump Station Loop: Tack and pave approximately 655 square yards of 12.5mm material 2” HMA. On-site work will commence between 1 October 2022, and 1 December 2022.
