Performance Requirements: The Contractor shall: During the growing season (April 1st through November 1st) all lawn areas shall be mowed and trimmed to maintain a height no more than three inches (3”). All hard surface areas, sidewalks and curbs shall be cleared of all clippings after each visit. Edging turf at sidewalks and other paved areas. All sidewalk lawn edges shall be mechanically edged at every other mowing visit during the growing season. Control of weeds and other undesirable growth in cracks, joints and edges on roadways, sidewalks, parking lots, plazas and around buildings will be performed during the growing season. Cut back of ornamental grasses in early spring season shall be done and debris from the beds, leaves, and other debris including trash will be cleaned up and removed. Trimming of all trees for clearance of vehicles and around the flagpole shall be done initially and then as needed. Leaves shall be raked and removed from all lawn, tree, shrub, ground cover, flower bed and hard surface areas during the Fall leaf season. During the winter (1 November through March 31st) Snow removal and salting shall be provided, as required to maintain driveways, parking lots and sidewalks clear.
