***** This project is 100% Small Business Set-Aside Invitation for Bid (IFB)***** The project consists of but is not limited to the repair, construction, and installation of the following: 1. Objectives and Requirements: The renovation of the space that will meet all Army standards, and the Unified Facilities Criteria and DoD AT/FP regulations. The 40,000 SF renovation located on the east half of the second floor will support LEAD employees maintaining and repairing missile equipment. The space will include a large, open area with significant access to power and telecom/data via ceiling and raised access flooring to provide LEAD with the ability to lay out the space with cubicles and repair pods as needed. Architectural, MEP disciplines will be required for the renovation of the space. A full removal and replacement of FP/FA/MNS systems is required for the entire building within this scope of work. If this requirement is not completed existing spaces within the building will remain un-utilized or under-utilized and will not allow mission within the building to be performed to full extent, and mission may be compromised due to ongoing building envelope leaks, potentially resulting to damage to equipment or systems within the building and posing a hazard to life safety. 2. Final Record Drawings (As-Builts): Submit the As-Builts drawings after completion of work to correctly show the features of the project as it has been constructed by bringing the contract set into agreement with approved working as-built prints, and adding such additional drawings as may be necessary. These working as-built marked prints must be neat, legible, and accurate. Provide version files for As-Builts as dictated in specifications. 3. Permits and Licenses: The Contractor shall, at his/her own expense, obtain any license or permits required to perform the contract. The Contractor shall comply with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations and shall comply with any subsequent changes. The contractor shall be responsible for all design efforts and application fees associated with obtaining the permits. Obtain the necessary permits to perform the work cited above.
