The Polyaluminum Chloride must be a Polyaluminum hydroxychlorosulfate and is referred to as “Polyaluminum Chloride” in this specification. Polyaluminum Chloride is used at Washington Aqueduct’s McMillan water treatment plant (WTP). Polyaluminum Chloride shall conform to the requirements of ANSI/AWWA Standard B408, latest revision, for Polyaluminum Chloride, except as modified or supplemented herein, and shall conform to NSF/ANSI Standard 60.
