Project Title: Construction Renovation to Joint Base Myers-Henderson Hall (JBMHH) Army Family Housing, Fort McNair, Washington, D.C. This project will be announced as W912DR21B0028. The proposed procurement is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS 236220 with a magnitude of construction between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The Government intends to solicit a competitive Design-Bid-Build (DBB), Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the renovation of General Officer homes. The buildings were originally designed in the Colonial Revival style by McKim, Meade and White and constructed between 1903 and 1905. They have continually been used as residences since their construction. All homes are within the boundaries of the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligible Fort Lesley J. McNair Historic District. Agency consultation, NEPA and stormwater permits will all be completed prior to construction and are not part of the construction contract. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge on or about 21 August 2021 to the SAM.gov system. Please note that all US Army Corps of Engineers acquisitions are considered sensitive. Vendors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database to receive a Government contract award. Vendors must also be registered in Representation and Certification Applications (included in SAM). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 236220 applicable to this acquisition must be in the Vendor’s SAM registration.
