USAMRIID BSL-3/4 HVAC Systems and Controls Design Revalidation and Assessment, Fort Detrick, MD The purpose of this contract is to provide comprehensive revalidation of the design of the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) Replacement Facility control system, the associated heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and systems, and key architectural elements of the laboratories that contribute to the maintenance of the containment and directional airflow under all required operational modes including normal, specific operational, and failure scenarios. In addition, the scope will provide an assessment of key aspects of the construction known or suspected to factor into the overall success of required laboratory function.
