This is a solicitation for Herbicide Application Services at the Long Branch Lake Project, Macon, MO. The Contractor shall provide herbicide chemicals, application services, and all required supporting services. The Contractor is required to purchase and apply herbicide for weed control at the rock and aggregate areas associated with the dam and boundary maintenance areas. The Contractor shall be required to use only chemicals and equipment appropriate for the intended purpose in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and as approved by the Government. The Contractor shall provide marker dye or colorant added to their spray mix to help the government see the areas that have been treated, and to aid in keeping track of the treated vs. untreated areas. The Contractor shall address the various types of terrain, and the access limitations for the required coverage areas when selecting chemicals and equipment.
