Solicitation Number: W912DQ23Q1028 Notice Type: Sources Sought Refuse Services for Perry Lake, KS for the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District This is a Sources Sought Announcement, issued in accordance with DFARS 236.272 and the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Acquisition Instruction (UAI) 5136.272. This is a Notice for Sources Sought only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). There is no bid package, solicitation, specifications or drawings available with this announcement. It does not constitute a procurement commitment by USACE, implied or otherwise. No contract will be awarded from this Sources Sought Notice. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought or any follow-up information requests. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any improperly identified information. USACE has a requirement for Refuse Services at Perry Lake, KS. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is NAICS Code 562111 Solid Waste Collection. The small business size standard for this requirement is $41,500,000.00. Project Description The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, fuel, materials, supplies, and supervision necessary to provide, place, empty, and clean approximately thirty (30) contractor furnished metal dumpsters (refuse collection dump boxes) (see section 5.2 for dumpster size) at the Perry Lake Project, near Perry, KS as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor shall deliver and place dumpsters in the park areas at locations designated by the PWS. Refuse collected from the dumpsters and roll-off container shall be transported and disposed of by the contractor off of Government property at a State approved sanitary landfill or disposal point. The contractor shall comply with all federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, statutes and regulations pertaining to the collection, transportation, and disposal of refuse and shall obtain such permits, licenses or other authorizations as may be required. Additional information may be requested after initial response, either from individual respondents or all respondents. This Sources Sought is the only document that will be published notifying potential offerors of the Government’s intent of establishing a competitive market base. Offeror’s are advised that information provided to the Government in regard to the products or devices proposed will be considered For Official Use Only (FOUO) and will not be released to the public or other potential offerors. The Government may retain this information for its records indefinitely. This is a market survey and notification of intent only (Sources Sought). This is not a request to respond to a solicitation.
