The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Kansas City District has a need for Geocarpon Glade Restoration services at Harry S Truman, Lake Project. The services to be furnished under this procurement shall consist of:. CLIN 0001-Clearing and Restoration of Glade Units as listed. Glade restoration will only be applied on fields with ecological units designated as “glade,” see figures 1 and 2 for site maps. Work shall be accomplished between 1 November 2022 and 31 March 2023. CLIN 0002-Improvement of access road to include leveling/adding road rock along access to the glades without creating any further degradation of the area. Section of access road to includes the area in front of access gate and beyond the first field as depicted in the attached map. All leveling/repair of road will include delivering and spreading 2” base road rock with fines over an area approximately 510’ long, 10’ wide and 2” thick. Work shall be accomplished between 1 July 2022 and 30 November 2022. CLIN 0003-Herbicide application of Japanese Honeysuckle and any non-native or invasive species encroaching on entry of glade sites not covered under requirements for the Base Contract as depicted on the attached map.
