THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. This notice is to seek information from industry, which will be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this Sources Sought, and no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT. Responses to this Sources Sought notice will be used to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought notice, and if the Government plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published in Federal Contract Opportunities website https://beta.sam.gov/. Responses to this Sources Sought are not an adequate response to the solicitation announcement. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a bid package or solicitation. There is no bid package or solicitation at this time. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this notice, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. This Sources Sought notice is unrestricted at this time and is a market research tool used for planning purposes only to gain knowledge of the interest, capabilities and qualifications of interested firms. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 561720 Janitorial Services with a small business size standard of $19.5M. The contractor will complete paperwork, complete submissions, provide labor, provide necessary equipment and supplies, and all that is necessary for providing fire ring and grill custodial services and fire ring replacement. The Contractor will require to removal and disposal of fire ring and grill contents and cleanup of the adjacent areas and to provide weekly removal of burnt contents, debris, and trash within and adjacent to all fire rings and grills. Included with this work are options to remove and install fire rings. These services are necessary to support the recreational component of the Rathbun Lake Project. Interested Businesses are invited to respond to this Sources Sought announcement by providing no more than 10 single sided 8 ½ x 11 pages describing 3-5 job experiences reflecting the information above. Interested parties should respond via E-mail to the point of contact below no later than February 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. CST. This Sources Sought notice is to assist the United States Corps of Engineers (USACE) in identifying an appropriate acquisition strategy only.
