The US Army Corp of Engineers, Kansas City District, has a need for a new Power Plant Storage Building at the Harry S. Truman Lake Project. The Scope of work requires the Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and materials to construct one (1) pre-engineered, metal storage building for the Harry S. Truman Lake Power Plant at the Harry S. Truman Lake Project, Warsaw, Missouri. The Contractor is to furnish and construct one pre- engineered metal building system of size and with spacing, slopes, and spans indicated. 40’W x 100’L x 20’H sidewalls. Building shall be a single gable, rigid clear span solid-member, structural-framing system without interior columns. Columns and rafters shall be tapered type. Roof pitch must be 4/12. Steel door with lockset required, keyed per powerhouse requirements 20’Wx14’H insulated overhead door required with opener 16’Wx14’H insulated overhead door required with opener Roof and gable sheeting shall be 26 gauge PBR metal. Color will be selected by Government the from a manufacturers color chart. 3” insulation required on the walls and roof. Interior liner required 5” gutters required. Includes gable, rake, ridge, corner and eave trim. Color will be selected from a manufacturers color chart. 5” concrete slab piers and stem walls required. 3’ stem walls required on 2 sided. Site prep and pad leveling will be required. Anchors required The contractor shall perform in accordance with the technical specifications and drawings. This project includes all work delineated in the Specifications and Plans and any incidental work to provide a complete and usable project.
