The US Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, intends to issue an Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation for construction activities for replacing/upgrading fifty-six (56) campsites to include electrical service distribution systems in “A” Loop camp area at Sparrowfoot PUA at Harry S. Truman Dam & Reservoir. It will be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13. In accordance with FAR 36.204 and DFARS 236.204, the estimate magnitude if this construction project is: Between $100,000 and $250,000 This procurement is a competitive small business set aside utilizing the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors). The estimate performance period for completion of construction is 150 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). At this time, no Pre-Solicitation Conference is planned for this solicitation. If the Government does elect to hold a Pre-Solicitation Conference, the Pre-Solicitation Announcement will be modified accordingly. There will be an organized site visit planned for this solicitation. The details will be included in the solicitation. Proposal Bonds shall be in the amount of 20% of the proposal price or $3,000,000.00, whichever is lesser of the two values. Payment and Performance Bonds will be required for the full amount (100%) of the awarded contract before the Notice to Proceed can be issued. Proposals will be due the day and time specified in the solicitation. The solicitation is expected to be available within the next 60 days.
