The contract is to provide invasive vegetation removal and eradication. Effort includes such activities as mowing, pulling, shearing, hand cutting, herbicide application or any other means necessary in the eradication of targeted invasive vegetation located in and around prairie areas. Invasive species targeted will consist of woody vegetation such as Olive (Autumn, Russian, Privet), Locust (Black), Honeysuckle (Common, Exotic Bush), Elm (Chinese, Siberian), Buckthorn, Multiflora Rose, Maple, Mulberry, Red Cedar or any other invasive plant determined to be detrimental to the health of the treated prairie.
