Solicitation Number: W912DQ-20-R-1016 Notice Type: Sources Sought Harlan County Lake Refuse Services For the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement, issued in accordance with DFARS 236.272 and the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Acquisition Instruction (UAI) 5236.272. THIS IS A NOTICE FOR SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, REQUEST FOR QUOTE, OR AN INVITATION FOR BID. THERE IS NO BID PACKAGE, SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS OR DRAWINGS AVAILABLE WITH THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A PROCUREMENT COMMITMENT BY THE U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS, IMPLIED OR OTHERWISE. NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. RESPONSE IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY; NO REIMBURESEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COST ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE GOVERNMENT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR OR SUFFER ANY CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR ANY IMPROPERLY IDENTIFIED INFORMATION. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has a requirement for refuse services at Harlan County Lake within the area of Republican City, NE. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is NAICS Code 562111 Solid Waste Collection. The small business size standard for this requirement is $41.5M. Project Description The work includes refuse collection for six parks around Harlan County Lake. The services furnished shall consist of all labor, equipment, and supplies as specified, to service and empty approximately 18 Contractor furnished dumpsters (3-8 cu yd, 1-6 cu yd, 2-4 cu yd, 6-2 cu yd, 1-1 cu yd and 5-96 gallon containers). Refuse from the receptacles and dumpsters shall be transported to and disposed of by the Contractor at a State licensed Landfill off Government property. All costs in connection with the above work shall be borne by the Contractor. Additional information may be requested after initial response, either from individual respondents or all respondents. This Sources Sought is the only document that will be published notifying potential offerors of the Government intent of establishing a competitive market base. (If small business, Company’s current small business category (Small Business, HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Woman-Owned, and/or 8(a)) as it relates to NAICS Code 562111 or something similar. *If you do not have a CAGE code, and you are interested in pursuing a contract with the Government, please register in the SAMs website as soon as possible (register through https://www.sam.gov/SAM/ website). A CAGE code is required prior to the submission of your proposal/quote/bid. Offeror’s are advised that information provided to the Government in regard to the products or devices proposed will be considered For Official Use Only (FOUO) and will not be released to the public or other potential offerors. The Government may retain this information for its records indefinitely. This is a market survey and notification of intent only (Sources Sought). This is not a request to respond to a solicitation.
