Blue Rapids Pump Station provides critical flood protection for the city of Blue Rapids, KS, located within the flood control pool at the upper reaches of Tuttle Creek Lake in Marshall County, Kansas. Control system for Blue Rapids pumps station are of the original 1950's vintage design and past the end of their useful life and some components do not operate as designed. In addition, replacement parts are no longer available due to the age of the components. Proper operation of the system is paramount to the safety of the facility and the residents of Blue Rapids.
