The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, intends to issue a Design-Bid-Build Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Storm Sewer Replacement and Parking Lot Repaving at the DLA Y Yard on Fort Riley, Kansas. The solicitation will be posted on an 8(a) competitive basis restrictive to Region VII which is Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska. The solicitation will be available on or about December 27, 2018. The General Scope of Work: The work includes but is not limited to demolition of existing concrete paved area, replace and remove sewer lines, asphalt paving, aggregate pavement, and remove stockpile existing concrete barrier and existing aggregate y-yard material. Provide storm drains and oil-water separator. The project is located at Ft. Riley, Kansas The estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 237110 Small Business Size Standard: 36.5 Million. A Bid bond will be required with your proposal in the amount of 20% of the offeror proposed price or $3,000,000.00 whichever is less. Payment and Performance bonds will be required for the full amount (100%) of the awarded contract before the Notice to Proceed can be issued. This solicitation will be issued as a Single Phase Request for Proposal (RFP) which will result in the award of a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract.
