The requirement is an Unrestricted/Full and Open competitiv... The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, intends to issue a solicitation for Flood Repair located at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. The requirement is an Unrestricted/Full and Open competitive acquisition; both small and large businesses are eligible to respond. The Government proposes to issue a firm fixed price type contract for this project. The scope of work for this Design-Bid-Build contract includes the following: The repair from civil infrastructure damages at Fort Leavenworth levees as a result of the high-water events in the Spring of 2019. Repairs include but are not limited to flood control structures and channel linings, replacement of culverts, flood gates, and by-pass pumps. Also included are repairs of levee culverts and overtopping structures, repair of erosion on levees, and replacement of weir gates, replacement of pump houses and pumps, and sediment removal and grading.
