The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Kansas City District (NWK) plans to solicit offers for Indefinite Delivery Contracts (IDCs) for Architect-Engineer Services for a Small Business (SB) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC). The proposed A-E MATOC will be solicited as a total small business set-aside with award to a target of five A-E firms with a total shared ordering capacity of $25M. The MATOC will include a five-year base ordering period not-to-exceed (NTE) five (5) years. The A-E MATOCs will be used to award negotiated firm-fixed-price (FFP) task orders (TOs) for multi-disciplinary A-E design services for the preparations of various military planning and design documents, project studies, specifications of various military projects and may also be utilized to support planning and design for civil works projects or planning efforts (i.e., master planning and similar projects and work assigned to NWD.

Saline and Lafayette Levee Unit W912DQ-22-B-1022 The work covered by this contract consist of earthwork operations, bringing in fill and borrow material from a pre-determined site, haul road development, clearing of debris as necessary, erosion repair, rutting repair, levee surfacing, various stone surfacing/placement, installation of stone armored protection, installation and rehabilitation of drainage structures and associated apertures, and establishment of turf for repairs of compromised landside, riverside, and crown levee sections. At this time, no Pre-Solicitation Conference is planned for this solicitation. If the Government does elect to hold a Pre-Solicitation Conference, the Pre-Solicitation announcement will be modified accordingly. There will be an organized site visit planned for this solicitation. The details will be included in the solicitation. If there are any changes to the scheduled site visit, the correct time and location will be included in the solicitation or amendments as applicable. At this time there are no options identified for this project. In accordance with FAR 36.204 and DFAR's 236.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is: between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. This solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and evaluated based on price and in accordance with FAR 14.1. The estimated period of performance for completion of construction is 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Bid Bonds are required if your bid is over $150,000.00. If your Bid is under $150,000 See FAR Clause 52.228-13 Alternative Payment Protection. Payment Bond will be required for the full amount (100%) of the awarded contract before the Notice to Proceed can be issued. Bids will be due on the day and time specified in the solicitation. The Kansas City, District Corps of Engineers is seeking qualified Small Business (SB) that primarily perform work under the NAICS classification 237990-“Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction”. The applicable size standard is $36.5M. Work will be in the county of Ellsworth, KS. The period of performance will be approximately 365 Calendar days to complete requirement with a magnitude between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Description of Construction Requirement: Kanopolis Dam is a USACE project located in Ellsworth County, Kansas, on the Smoky Hill River. The work involves the repairing of a slide on the slope of the downstream embankment near the stilling basin, the removal of debris on the upstream of the dam and the placement of riprap on the upstream side of the dam.
