Industrial Hygiene equipment will be used to verify occupational and environmental health hazards. Exposure monitoring results will determine residual health risk and allow the Industrial Hygienist to use evidence-based data to determine and recommend hazard controls for exposures at or above an actionable level. Quantifiable exposure assessments are required IAW several authorities: the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Title Code of Federal Regulations (CFR Part 1910), Department of Defense Instruction (6055.01, 6055.05, 6055.12, and 6050.05), DA Pamphlets (40-501 and 40-503).
