This is a pre-solicitation notice for need for ONE (1) ECAC standard 3/ TSA certified X-Ray scanner. This X-ray device would allow personnel to more accurately and efficiently discover suspected contraband within shipped packages for all personnel working theater-wide. This operation is imperative to security and the safety of the entire theater of operation. Salient characteristics, delivery, and all other relevant information is specified in the attached solicitation document. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Price PAYMENT IN LOCAL CURRENCY: This contract will be awarded and paid in the LOCAL CURRENCEY OF THE SELECTED AWARDEE for which the contractor is registered in SAM. Payments shall be made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), unless circumstances beyond a contractor’s control prevent this.
