See the revised attachments and the W912D0-20-Q-0002 P00001 Amendment 1 document for details. The U.S. Army Garrison at Fort Wainwright has a requirement to provide a flexible building telecommunications system for building 1004; the system shall be installed within the facility (Basement, 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors). This project encompasses copper and fiber optic horizontal distribution cables (FOC), termination equipment, work station outlets, patch panels, conduits, cable trays, penetrations, grounding, labeling, demolition, and testing. This project shall provide new cable tray and EMT conduit pathways, outlets and new Category 6 cabling to rooms in the administrative areas. Each floor distributed from the new Telecommunications Equipment Rooms’ (TERs) locations. The project shall also provide the existing TERs with power and grounding. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, transportation, and storage as required to perform all work in accordance with specifications, commercial practices and industry standards. See statement of work (SOW) and attachments for further information. OPTION: The contract includes the cabling work as an option item. The contracting officer may exercise the option by written notice within 30 days of NTP. SITE VISIT: A site visit will be conducted on 19 August 2020, 10:00 AM Alaska Standard Time (AKST) at BLDG 1004, meet at the front entrance to BLDG 1004 on the south side of the building adjacent to Gaffney road, Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Failure to attend the site visit listed in FAR Clause 52.236-27 Alt I in order identify obvious site conditions does not constitute a valid claim for differing or unforeseen site conditions. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000 in accordance w ith FAR 36.204(c). QUOTES DUE: Quotes are due by 31 August at 10:00 AM AKST.
