This is a Sources Sought notice issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought notice is strictly voluntary. Responses will not be returned. No entitlements to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges to the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses, or the Government's use of such information. This announcement is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a Request for Quote (RFQ). All responses will be used for market analysis in determining the availability of potential businesses that may be used to determine appropriate acquisition strategy. No solicitation is being issued at this time. The 413th Contracting Support Brigade, Regional Contracting Office Hawaii is seeking commercial sources to provide qualified personnel to upgrade an existing microwave link between Mauna Kapu and Ft Shafter, to procure, install, test and document one (1) microwave link on the island of Oahu, HI. The link will provide connectivity between the repeater site and the master site of the Land Mobile Radio-Hawaii (LMR-HI). The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, materials, equipment and services as stated in the Draft PWS and as specified in the Draft Salient Characteristics. The NAICS proposed for this requirement is 334220. The size standard for NAICS 334220 is 1,250 employees. The Government requests businesses having the capabilities and interest to perform this requirement to submit a response which includes a brief description of your company's business size (i.e. annual gross revenue and employee size, business status), and a description of same/similar services offered to the Government and to commercial sectors. The Government will use this information in determining its set-aside decision. Interested firms are requested to provide the aforementioned information, along with interest and capability statements no later than 31 JAN 2019. Interested vendors should submit their capability statement in writing, limited to three pages. The capability statement should be in sufficient detail to allow Government to determine the organization's related qualifications to perform the work. The statement shall also include your company's name, address, telephone number, point of contact, email address, CAGE code, DUNS number, business size (e.g. large business, small business, socio-economic status). Additional information regarding this requirement will be posted for viewing on FedBizOpps at https://www.fbo.gov/ as it becomes available. NOTE: It is the responsibility of all potential offerors to monitor the FedBizOpps website for release of any future synopses or release of the solicitation. Interested parties are cautioned that the Draft PWS and/or documents posted with this notice are subject to change; the formal version of the PWS will be released with the solicitation on a future date when and if one is issued. All potential offerors are reminded that in accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management (SAM), lack of registration in the SAM will make an offeror ineligible for contract award.
