Combined Synopsis/Solicitation i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is conducted using FAR 13.5 - Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. (ii) Competitive quotes are being requested under Request for Quote (RFQ) Number W912CN-22-Q-0020. (iii) This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2022-04, Effective: January 26, 2022. (iv) The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this acquisition is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment. The small business size standard is $8.0 million. This procurement is issued as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Only quotes submitted by Small Business Concerns will be accepted by the Government. (v) This is a non-personal services contract to provide inspection, testing maintenance, and repair of elevators, lifts and platforms at Eielson AFB (EAFB), Fort Wainwright (FWA), and Fort Greely (FGA). The Government will not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers. The Contractor shall perform to the standards specified in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). Contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary as defined in the attached PWS.
