SOURCES SOUGHT DESCRIPTION FOR SUPPLIES (MARKET RESEARCH ONLY) INTRODUCTION The 413TH CSB, RCO-HAWAII, is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement for Solar ALUMINUM 18'x18'x10' SMS-RAC-2400 Rest Area Center, Heavy duty military grade Aluminum construction Gazebos. The intention is to procure these supplies on a competitive basis. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES (IN FULL OR IN PART) OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION, and multiple awards MAY be made. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF POTENTIAL OFFERORS TO MONITOR THE GPE FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMMATION PERTAINING TO THIS REQUIREMENT.” PROGRAM BACKGROUND In accordance with (IAW) assignment, 25th ID Division Engineers (DIVENG) requires to purchase QTY four (4) SOLAR MOD SYSTEMS ALUMINUM 18'x18'x10' SMS-RAC-2400 Gazebos for delivery on Schofield Barracks. Vendor shall provide 2 full years warranty on the structure and 1 year warranty on all electrical components. REQUIRED CAPABILITIES This will be a troop labor installation, with vendor support on site, but each Gazebo will have the following specifications: Rest Area Center will have heavy duty military grade Aluminum construction 2400 Watts of Solar Input, 8EA 6Volt Deep Cycle AGM Battery’s, Two 110 Volt electrical outlets, one on each power side poles, Two (4) USB Outlet, one on each power side poles for a total of 8 ports One Timer Switch to activate the Electronics on the 110 volt lines Built in WiFi Extender, Two wireless cell phone charging stations 80Amp Charge controller, 3000Watt Inverter, Backup battery charger that can connect to a standard 110 volt outlet or generator, LED Lighting string along entire perimeter of the top for nigh time activities 4 Seismic/Wind Anchors at the base of each post with decorative cover Weather proof battery and electronic compartment with ventilation Lockable storage box for wood, charcoal, and other Misc. items Fire Pit with swing out BBQ grill, custom engraved with each unit’s name. All hardware and electronics prewired for easy instillation in the field. Units needs to be modular and be able to installed with limited tools and personnel Vendor shall PROVIDE a technician out with the delivery of the units to supervise and help with the initial installations. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: None ELIGIBILITY The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 332312 with a Small Business Size Standard of 750. The Product Supply Code is 5410. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond; however, each respondent must clearly identify their business size in their capabilities statement. A draft Statement of Work (SOW). (Attachment 1) & draft Salient Characteristics Interested parties are requested to submit a capabilities statement of no more than two (2) pages in length in Times New Roman font of not less than 10 pitch. The deadline for response to this request is no later than 4 PM, EST, July 26 2021. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be e-mailed to Tereshia Burford, Tereshia.burford.civ@mail.mil. This documentation must address at a minimum the following items: 1.) What type of work has your company performed in the past in support of the same or similar requirement? 2.) Can or has your company supply this products? If so, please provide details. 3.) Please note that under a Small-Business Set-Aside, in accordance with FAR 52.219-14, the small business prime must perform at least 50% of the work themselves in terms of the cost of performance. Provide an explanation of your company’s ability to perform at least 50% of the tasking described in this SOW. 4.) Provide a statement including current small/large business status and company profile to include number of employees, annual revenue history, office locations, DUNs number, etc. 5.) Respondents to this notice also must indicate whether they qualify as a Small, Small Disadvantaged, Women-Owned, HUBZone, or Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concern. 6.) Include in your response your ability to meet the requirements in the Facility and Safeguarding requirements. The estimated delivery date is expected 90 days ARO. The contract type is anticipated to be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Contract Line Item Number (CLIN). Your response to this Sources Sought, including any capabilities statement, shall be electronically submitted to the Contract Specialist, Tereshia Burford, in either Microsoft Word or Portable Document Format (PDF), Tereshia.burford.civ@mail.mil. All data received in response to this Sources Sought that is marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from any release outside the Government.
