This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is W912CN-20-Q-WS02 and this solicitation is issued as request for quotation (RFQ). Any award resulting from this solicitation will be issued on a Standard Form 1449. Submission of a quote that does not contain all item(s) requested may result in elimination from consideration of award. The 413th Contracting Support Brigade at Wheeler Army Airfield, Hawaii is seeking commercial sources to provide all labor, supervision, tools and transportation necessary to perform removal of one (1) 75 KVA Transformer at Kilauea Military Camp (KMC) Building 88, on the Island of Hawaii. Contractor shall install one (1) Government provided 50 KVA Transformer, perform operational test in accordance with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Hawaii Department of Health (HDOH), Department of Transportation (DOT), Defense, Reutilization & Marketing Office (DRMO), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Federal, State and local laws, regulations and ordinances. It is anticipated that the contract performance period will be completed by 30 September 2020. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed for the requirement is 335311; Power, Distribution and Specialty Transformer Manufacturing. The size standard for NAICS 335311 is 750. The government requests interested parties submit a response which includes a brief description of their company's business size (i.e. annual revenues and employee size, business status) and a description of same/similar services offered to the Government and to commercial industries. The Government will use this information in determining its set-aside decision. Interested firms are requested to provide the aforementioned information, along with interest and capability statements no later than 28 August 2020. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) is posted with this notice and interested parties are encouraged to submit industry comments to the PWS. Interested vendors should submit their capability statement in writing, limited to three pages.
