Orginal Text This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. W912CN-20-Q-S0002 is issued as an invitation to Request for Quotation (RFQ). The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-05. This acquisition is a 100 percent small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 711130 – “Religious Musical Groups and Artists”. The size standard is 12 (millions of dollars). It is the contractor’s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. Description of Requirement: The Department of Ministry and Pastoral Care at Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu, Hawaii, has a requirement for a musician to provide musical leadership for its Catholic Services on Saturday and Sunday Mass, and for Holiday/Special Mass as required. The requested musician must have the ability to play the piano and/or guitar, and be intimately familiar with the Catholic Services along with its liturgical requirements. The musician is expected to lead and select the proper hymns, choruses, and spiritual songs; perform preludes; postlude; offertory; and background for meditation and prayers; that enhances the atmosphere of worship for the particular congregation. Play prelude 15 minutes prior to designated Worship Service/Ceremony start time and postlude of at least 5 minutes at the conclusion of the Worship Service/Ceremony. All job duties and personal qualifications must be performed in accordance with the attached performance work statement (PWS). Scheduled hours of performance for required musician services (Does not include Special/Holiday Mass): Saturday Mass: 1645 – 1805 Sunday Mass: 1045 – 1205 The period of performance shall be for one base year of 12 months, and four 12-month option years. The period of performance reads as follows: Base Year: 22 July 2020 to 21 July 2021 Option Year One: 22 July 2021 to 21 July 2022 Option Year Two: 22 July 2022 to 21 July 2023 Option Year Three: 22 July 2023 to 21 July 2024 Option Year Four: 22 July 2024 to 21 July 2025 *The period of performance is subject to change depending on actual date of award.
