1) The Army Contracting Command, 413th Contract Support Brigade (CSB), Regional Contracting Office Hawaii (RCO-HI), has a requirement for on-site chiller systems diagnostics and troubleshooting traini... 1) The Army Contracting Command, 413th Contract Support Brigade (CSB), Regional Contracting Office Hawaii (RCO-HI), has a requirement for on-site chiller systems diagnostics and troubleshooting training. 2) Background: This is a new firm-fixed price requirement. 3) Contract Set aside: Unrestricted 4) Contract Type and Period of Performance: The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Requirement contract with an estimate Period of Performance of 8 July 2020 - 10 July 2020. Actual training schedule to be coordinated with the COR. This acquisition will be solicited under National American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code 611430, Professional and Management Development Training. The small business size standard is $11.0M. 5) Quotes shall be submitted electronically on the BetaSAM website or via e-mail to Contract Specialist identified below. Faxed quotes will not be accepted. Quotes must be received by the contracting office on or before the solicitationclosing date and time stated under Block 8 of the SF 1449 Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial I tems. Local time is Hawaii Standard Time (HST). It is the responsibility of the contractor to ensure quotes are received and acknowledged by the Contract Specialist on or before the closing date of Monday, June 8, 2020 at 12:00 PM. 6) No paper copies will be issued. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of any amendments to this solicitation. Any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on BetaSAM. Potential vendors are encouraged to submit questions and/or recommendations regarding the terms and conditions of the RFQ and/or associated documents. The Army Contracting Command, 413th Contract Support Brigade (CSB), Regional Contracting Office, Hawaii (RCO-HI) has a requirement for on-site chiller systems diagnostics and troubleshooting training. The Contractor shall provide all classroom and hands-on training and course materials. Curriculum shall include all facilitation materials and workbooks. The training shall equip employees with the skills and tools necessary to service and maintain Smardt chillers and its associated system. A certification shall be received upon completion of the training that authorizes participants to carry out regular maintenance and basic troubleshooting of Smardt equipment. Training to be provided in a classroom and hands-on environment. Training will be on Schofield Baracks, Hawaii for approximately twelve (12) students. Students shall receive an overview of the newest upgrades and gain access to Smardt’s technical support staff for assistance in troubleshooting and servicing unplanned maintenance events. Trainee’s will be provided with hands-on training to be able to set, program, open, diagnose and troubleshoot some of the major components made available at the on-site training. Upon completion and certification, students will gain access to Smardt’s technical support staff, Smardt’s technical documentation, access to their software required to interact with major components on Smardt chillers and access to Smardt’s parts list. This announcement is a Sources Sought Notice to establish market research. This is not a Request for Quote(RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP). This annoucement is to obtain information for planning purposes. Responses in any form are not offers and not to be taken as a commitment by the Government as implied or otherwise to issue a soliciation or award a contract. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses or procured through full and open competition.
