The Contractor shall provide personnel, labor, equipment, transportation, supplies, materials and other services necessary to perform grease traps pumping, cleaning, inspection and disposal services located throughout various Army Installations: Fort Shafter (FS) and Aliamanu Military Reservation (AMR), on the Island of Oahu. All grease and food shall be removed from each grease trap, clean all baffles/screens of grease buildup, all interior parts and components, and the interceptor housing, to include any secondary encasements. Inspect each grease trap after pumping/cleaning for serviceability and dispose of all waste material at a State of Hawaii approved disposal site in accordance with the current U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Federal, State of Hawaii and City and County of Honolulu requirements. In the event of a clog, the Contractor will be responsible for the sewer lines 50 feet upstream of the grease trap and 50 feet downstream of the grease trap as needed or when flow rates indicate restrictions are accumulating. The estimated period of performance consists of base year plus 4 options with performance commencing in August 2020. This announcement is a Sources Sought Notice to establish market research. This is not a Request for Quote(RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP). This annoucement is to obtain information for planning purposes. Responses in any form are not offers and not to be taken as a commitment by the Government as implied or otherwise to issue a soliciation or award a contract. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses or procured through full and open competition. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified firms relative to the North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code - 562998 All Other Miscellaneous Waste Management Services with a Small Business Size Standard of $8.0M. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond.
