Market research is conducted to determine the availability and capability of qualified businesses for the following service: Furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, management, supervision, tools, transportation, and services required to install new and repair/construct concrete sidewalks, steps, swales, curbs, gutters, combination curbs and gutters, repair asphaltic concrete pavement, repair/construction of concrete wheelchair ramps, removal of tree roots or stumps, installation of root barriers, and all related items to complete the work for miscellaneous locations at Fort Shafter, Triper (excluding the medical facilities under Tripler (TAMC)), Fort De Russy, Fort Ruger, Schofield Barracks, Wheeler Army Airfield, Aliamanu Military Reservation, and Helemano Military Reservation on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Hours of operation is 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday through Friday excluding Federal holidays. The anticipated start date is 01 June 2020. The Government is anticipating a firm fixed price requirement type construction contract, base plus 2 option periods. NAICS Code: 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction. Business size standard: $36.5M. The magnitude of construction is over $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. Task order are anticipated to range from $2,000.00 - $2,000,000.00. Interested vendors shall submit a capability statement to include: 1) Company’s Name and Address; 2) Point of Contact Name, Phone Number, Email; 3) Cage Code; 4 Duns Number; 5) Type of Business (large, small, 8(a), woman owned, etc.); 6) Experience: Submit 3-5 recent specific Government or commercial contracts your firm has self-performed to demonstrate your relevant NAICS 237310 experience as indicated in this announcement; 7) Maximum bonding capacity per project and aggregate bonding capacity. The capability statement should not exceed 2 pages and shall be in sufficient details to allow the Government to determine the organization’s qualifications to perform the work.
