Place of Performance: San Antonio, TX Period of Performance: The period of performance of the resultant contract will be from 19-24 May 2019. Type of Set-Aside: The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 721110, Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels, with a small business standard size of $32.5M. The Product Service Code is V231, Lodging - Hotel/Motel. This requirement will be issued on a full and open competition basis. Contract Type: The Government intends to award a single award, Firm Fixed Price contract to fulfill this requirement. Contract Award Evaluation Criteria: The Government will award a contract resulting from the solicitation to the lowest priced responsible offeror, whose offer conforms to the solicitation in accordance with FAR Part 13. Award is contingent upon force protection inspections and that the hotel must be located in San Antonio,TX in the vicinity of the Downtown-Riverwalk area. SAM Registration: All offerors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be considered for award of a contract. Availability of Funds: Funds are currently available for this contract. Due to the competitive standard of the place of performance and variety of other factors that can affect availability of these requirements, sourcing for lodging and other support services must be done in advance to ensure the success of this conference. The Government's obligation under this requirement is contingent upon availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability in writing by the Contracting Officer.
