THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS RFQ EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER THE RFP CLOSING DATE. The 410th Contracting Brigade Regional Contracting Office, San Antonio issues a Request for quotes (RFQ) to award a single firm fixed price contract to provide all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, supervision, and any other necessary items to renovate / improve the Old Montross Police Barracks located at Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. These renovated barracks will be used to provide lodging to the Soldiers, Marines and airmen participating in Tradewinds 2019 exercise. The work consists of enclosing the laydown area with an approximate 850 linear feet of 10 ft. high chain link fence, including a 20 feet wide vehicle gate and barracks renovations which consist of installing 10 ceiling fans and repairing sections of the damaged roof. The above general outline of the principal features of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the Contractor to perform all work required by the SOW, exhibits and specifications. A Site Visit: Date to be determined No date for a site visit has been determined as of now. The date will be posted along with the full solicitation and Statement of Work (SOW). The site visit will be conducted at the Old Montross Police Barracks located at Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. All interested parties are encouraged to attend, please confirm attendance to William Conkin william.g.conkin.mil@mail.mil (Contracting Officer Representative) 859-912-3275. For those vendors who are unable to attend the site visit at the scheduled date, they will be allowed to inspect the site in a different day with prior coordination with the Contracting Officer Representative. PROJECT MAGNITUDE IS BETWEEN $50,000 and $70,000 The period of performance is 45 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. This procurement will be issued as unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a quote. The office proposes to post RFQ# W912CL-19-Q-0007 to the FedBizOpps website (http://fbo.gov). Once the solicitation is issued, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any quote preparation costs. Any questions, requests for information (RFI's) etc. relating to the upcoming solicitation must be submitted in writing via email to the individuals designated in the solicitation. Telephone requests for packages, questions, etc will not be accepted.
