ACC-DTA has issued an RFI/market research notice, not a solicitation, to gauge vendor interest and capability for manufacturing a Recharge Kit, Valve (NSN 4210-01-483-9758; P/N 579K4036; NAICS 336992). The kit is used to service and reset fire suppression systems inside the M1 Abrams Family of Vehicles. The government seeks input from small and large businesses that can demonstrate the ability, capability, and responsibility to deliver this equipment. Interested vendors should complete and return the attached Sources Sought/Market Research Survey to Angelo Wilson at angelo.b.wilson.civ@army.mil, and may optionally submit product literature, illustrations, or relevant company background/experience. The contracting office is US Army Contracting Command–Detroit Arsenal, 6501 E. Eleven Mile Road, Detroit Arsenal, MI 48397-5000, and no costs will be reimbursed for responding.
