Pursuant to the requirements of FAR 5.201, this announcement is a synopsis of Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) intent to award a sole source contract pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), to Transhield INC. to procure M1095 RST Trailer Covers, as further described below. This requirement is for United States Marine Corps (USMC) M1095A2 RST Trailers. To support the Program Executive Office – Combat Support & Combat Service Support (PEO CS&CSS) and the Product Director for Medium Tactical Vehicles (PD MTV) requirement for M1095 RST Trailer Covers, the U.S. Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) plans to solicit and award a single Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Definite Quantity contract. FMTV A2 M1095 RST Trailer Covers under the anticipated definite quantity contract consist of the following item: - NSN 2540-01-685-4209: M1095 Trailer Cover W/O Rails, GREEN, Part Number (PN) 11577XTG. The Government will procure a quantity of 66 each FMTV A2 M1095 Trailer Cover W/O Rails, GREEN. The M1095 Trailer Cover is a protective cover that minimizes environmental effects to the FMTV A2 M1095 RST. ACC-DTA targets a solicitation release early December 2024. The solicitation will be released on SAM.gov and interested offerors are responsible to monitor SAM.gov. Please refer to the solicitation for all terms and conditions once posted. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
