Responses will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. The US Government is not committed to issue a solicitation or award a contract as a result of this announcement. The US Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) is seeking qualified and capable potential vendors. Since this is a Request for Information/Market Research and not a solicitation for receipt of proposals or quotations, the Government does not encourage questions concerning this market research. This Request for Information (RFI) is for the manufacturing of: Noun: STAND,MAINTENANCE NSN: 4910-01-115-6284 P/N: 12298097 NAICS Code: 334419 Other Electronic Component Manufacturing Export Control: Distribution Statement D Noun Description: The Maintenance Stand is an essential piece of ground support equipment used to securely hold the complete power pack assembly (engine and transmission) for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle and the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) family of vehicles. Its purpose is to allow maintenance personnel to safely and efficiently perform comprehensive diagnostics, repairs, and complete overhauls of the engine and transmission units after they have been removed from the vehicle. The Government is seeking to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of the community, to include both small and large businesses. If your company is interested and can demonstrate the firm’s ability, capability, and responsibility to deliver the equipment summarized above, we encourage you to complete the Sources Sought Notice attached. Information submissions must be received no later than 10 days following posting of this RFI. Responses should be addressed to Angelo Wilson, angelo.b.wilson.civ@army.mil.
