Responses will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Army Contracting Command - Detroit (ACC-DTA) is seeking qualified and capable potential vendors. Since this is a Request for Information/Market Research and not a solicitation for receipt of proposals or quotations, the Government does not encourage questions concerning this market research. This Request for Information (RFI) is for the manufacturing of the following: Noun: Controller, Air Temp NSN: 2540-01-185-8217 Government Part Number: 12336778 Manufactured Part Number: 624714-4-1 The intent is to issue a 5 year Long Term Fixed Price Contract for this procurement with the following estimated quantities: Estimated Minimum Quantity: 6 Each Estimated Maximum 5 Year Quantity: 196 Each NAICS Code: 334511 Controller 12336778 is part of the Abrams Nuclear Biological Chemical (NBC)system temperature control. The Controller interfaces with several NBC controlvalves and sensors, and also interfaces with the Abrams Digital Electric ControlUnit (DECU) via the Hull Sidecar module.The Controller itself is made up ofseveral components including a welded and bolted together housing, twoelectrical connector plug, two circuit card assemblies and over forty individualwire connections. The circuit cards are also proprietary to Honeywell with notechnical design features available to the USG.
