The US Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) is seeking qualified and capable potential vendors. Since this is a Request for Information/Market Research and not a solicitation for receipt of proposals or quotations, the Government does not encourage questions concerning this market research. This Request for Information (RFI) is for the manufacturing of: Noun: Thrust Collar Assembly NSN: 3110-01-644-4265 P/N: 11582994 NAICS Code: 336992 (Military Armored Vehicle, Tank, and Tank Component Manufacturing) Export Control: Distribution Statement D Noun Description: The Thrust Collar Assembly is part of the Lightweight Bore Evacuator (LWBE) on tanks and artillery. It prevents the LWBE from sliding forward due to the force of air and rounds passing through the tube during firing, protecting the tube from damage. The collar ensures the LWBE remains securely in place for proper operation. The Government is seeking to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of the community, to include both small and large businesses.
