The Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) is seeking to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of the community, to include both small and large businesses. This is a Sources Sought Notice, and it is not a solicitation for a receipt of quotations. Responses in any form are not considered offers and the United States Government (USG) is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. All information herein is strictly for planning acquisition strategy. a) Request for Information (RFI): NOUN: 50X228MM Cannon Logistics Products Description: The purpose of this RFI is for the United States Government (USG) to determine industry capabilities to produce logistics products for a XM913, 50x228mm cannon that may be incorporated into the U.S. Army Infantry Fighting Vehicle. Any information received in response to this survey will be used by the USG to aid its current Acquisition Planning effort and a potential competitive Request for Proposal (RFP). Currently, the USG plans to obtain the prospective requirements identified within this survey from a source that has the ability or capability to meet the USG's requirements. b) Information Sought: Program Management Office (PMO) XM30 is seeking the following information related to a 50x228mm cannon solutions: - Operator Manuals - Field Level Maintenance Manuals - Engineering data for provisioning 1. Has your organization ever received a contract award from the USG as a Prime Contractor to develop logistics products for a 50x228mm cannon or similar weapon? If so, provide the name of the requiring activity and contract number(s). 2. Describe your company's experience related to logistics products of a 50x228mm cannon. a. Describe your experience in developing logistics products for a 50x228mm. b. Identify other organizations or countries that are using your product/technology. 3. Describe your company's capabilities with developing logistical products: a. Operator and Maintainer Level Technical Manuals b. Operator and Maintainer Level Instructional Material and Points of Instruction 4. Describe your experience and or familiarity with the completion of a Department of the Army (DA) Form 2408-8 "Weapon Record Data". 5. Describe your company's experience with and capabilities in providing unclassified Army property (sensitive and non-sensitive) security in accordance with AR 190-51, "Security of Unclassified Army Property." 6. Identify and describe your company's current quality system and indicate whether your company is independently certified in that system. c) Responses: All interested firms and manufacturers, regardless of size, may respond to this RFI. Information submissions can include product literature and illustrations, and relevant company background and experience. Relevant sales media and product manuals may be included as attachments with your submission. Responses shall be furnished to the USG no later than 1700 Eastern Standard Time on 4 June 2024.
