The subject Request for Proposal (RFP) is for a five (5) year Requirements Contract for two National Stock Numbers (NSNs) (detailed below). Amendment 0001, issued 11 June 2024, extended the proposal due date from 13 June 2024 to 26 June 2024 and added Paragraph L.5. Pursuant to the authority of 10 USC 3204(b)(B), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), this requirement will be negotiated on an other than full and open competitive basis with Kidde Technologies Inc. (CAGE 05BU0). Item Descriptions: 1st Item: Fire Extinguisher Assembly / NSN: 4210-01-649-4880 MFR CAGE: 05BU0 / MFR PART NO: 423242 5 Year Estimated QTY: 715 FOB: Origin FAT Requirement: No 2nd Item: Fire Extinguisher Valve / NSN: 4210-01-491-9279 MFR CAGE: 19207 / MFR PART NO: 12437443 5 Year Estimated QTY: 3,595 FOB: Origin FAT Requirement: Yes This solicitation and resulting contract contains technical data whose export is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act (Section 2751 of Title 22, United States Code) or the Export Control Reform Act of 2018 (Chapter 58 Sections 4801-4852 of Title 50, United States Code). This also applies to distribution of the TDP to all SUBCONTRACTORS at every level. To be eligible to gain access to this export controlled TDP (via SAM.gov) an offeror must have a current DD 2345, Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement certification on file with the Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS). To obtain certification, contractors must submit a DD Form 2345 to the United States (U.S.)/Canada Joint Certification Office (JCO), along with a copy of supporting documentation. DD Form 2345 and instructions can be found on the Joint Certification Program website at: http://www.dla.mil/HQ/InformationOperations/Offers/Products/LogisticsApplications/JCP.aspx Processing time is estimated at six (6) to ten (10) weeks after receipt.
