Pre-solicitation Notice For Elk City Gate Repairs Elk River, Elk City, Montgomery County, Kansas This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE for repairs of the gates at Elk City Lake, in Montgomery County, Kansas. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this pre-solicitation notice or any follow up postings. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Tulsa has been tasked to solicit for and award a contract for the Elk City Gate Repair, at the Elk River, Elk City, Kansas. This project will be a Small Business Set-Aside, firm-fixed price, construction contract procured in accordance with FAR 15, Negotiated Procurement utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable approach, tradeoffs will not be permitted. Project Description: Fabricate and deliver four sets of the roller chain backing plate assemblies: including (1) backing plate, (2) side guide bars, and the affiliated installation hardware. Fabricate and deliver two sets of the roller chain housing assemblies: including (1) upper section, (1) lower section, (1) vertical section, and the affiliated installation hardware. Removal and disposal of the existing roller chain backing plate assemblies, the removal and storage of the roller chain, anodes, and any other components that provide an obstruction to the removal of the existing roller chain backing plate assemblies. Installation and operability testing of the roller chain backing plate assemblies. Estimated duration of construction of this project is 300 calendar days. Anticipated solicitation issuance date is on or about 19 May 2025, and the estimated proposal due date will be on or about 23 June 2025.
