This project involves repairing transmission tower foundations that have been structurally compromised over their 60-year lifetime. The primary goal of this retrofit will be to eliminate the ability of moisture to collect and remain between the baseplate and the top of the concrete pedestal. Work will be performed within the switchyard at Sam Rayburn Powerhouse, Texas. The access road to the plant is located off highway TX-RR255, approximately 18 miles from Jasper, TX on the Angelina River in Jasper County, Texas.
