Denison Switchyard Power Circuit Breakers Replacement at Red River Watershed, Denison Powerhouse, Texas. This project replaces three of the six switchyard Power Circuit Breakers (PCBs), PCB power and control wiring, PCB bushing CT secondary circuit wiring, and PCB pole-to-HOD switch pole jumpers (stingers). All equipment will be replaced with new equipment of equivalent ratings. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside competitive solicitation for a firm-fixed price contract to be awarded under the best value continuum using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) process in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) and complete the work within the proposed number of calendar days (Not to Exceed 900 days) after receipt of NTP. Provisions will be included for Liquidated Damages in case of failure to complete the work in the allowed time. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. NOTE: Specifications and Drawings contain Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and access to these documents is restricted as per 23 CFR 2002 and Presidential Policy Directive 21. Description: The RFP for this project is expected to be issued on or about the middle of April 2024. The Proposal due date is planned on or about the middle of May 2024. The North American Industry Code Standard (NAICS) is NAICS 335313 – Switchgear and Switchboard Apparatus Manufacturing, and the size standard is 1,250 employees. The planned procurement method is contracting by Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) in accordance with FAR part 15. The resulting contract is planned to be a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract for the work described in the Statement of Work which will be provided with the solicitation. The US ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS is seeking proposals for replacing three of the six switchyard Power Circuit Breakers (PCBs), PCB power and control wiring, PCB bushing CT secondary circuit wiring, and PCB pole-to-HOD switch pole jumpers (stingers). All equipment will be replaced with new equipment of equivalent ratings. Work also includes supplying PCBs, PCBs disassembly, and PCBs installation. 10. Place of Contract Performance: The preponderance of the work to be placed under this contract is expected to be performed at Red River Watershed, Denison Powerhouse, Texas. 11. Set Aside Status: This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. 12. Additional Details: THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE OFFERED IN ELECTRONIC FORMAT ONLY. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED.
